Instant Chai Tea Mix
A delicious homemade Chai Tea Mix is a spiced hot tea that is creamy and sweet. It is super easy to mix up and have in your pantry. This mix is a great DIY gift idea too for the tea lovers in your family and friend circle.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of Instant Black Tea
- 1 cup of Sugar or Your Favorite Sugar Alternative
- 1 cup of powdered milk
- 1 cup of plain powdered Coffee Creamer
- 1 cup of French Vanilla Powered Creamer
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of ground cardamon
- 1 teaspoon of ground cloves
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and stir until well combined. Depending on how spiced you like your Chai you can add more or less of the spices to meet your taste preferences.
- Once your mixture is well combined, I find it best to run the mix through a coffee grinder in small batches to grind all the ingredients into a fine powder. This will help it mix into your hot water better. If you do not have a coffee grinder you can use a high-powered food processor to do larger batches or a blender.
- To store the Instant Chai Tea Mix pour your tea mix into an airtight container with a lid. This will last in your pantry for a couple of months.
- To mix up a cup of hot Chair Tea add 3 to 4 tablespoons of mix to a 10-ounce coffee or tea cup and pour your hot water over. Stir well and enjoy!
