About the Book:
My Personal Review:
From the moment I saw the striking colors of the cover to the moment I read the very last page, I enjoyed this book! The book pulls you into the lives of Nurse Nan and her “flyboy” from the very first chapters. With a story that is full of twists and adventure, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. I didn’t want to put the book down.
Each time I had to lay it down for a few hours, I found myself forward to seeing what happens next and cheering on Nurse Nan and Dutch as they fought for what was right and their newfound bond. The author has done a remarkable job setting the scene of Ireland during World War II and telling the story of some interesting characters. I found myself falling in love with many of the towns people and friends of Nurse Nan, including the cuddly Mr. Dee, very early on. Signs of a great book, if you ask this book worm!
If you’re looking for a great historical fiction piece with a great story and well-developed characters, then I highly recommend you pick up a copy of this book soon. I don’t think you will be sorry you did!
