This is a delicious side dish that is perfect for the holidays. A twist on your typical Brussell sprouts but one that will make anyone want to give them a try. I love picking up extra cranberries and freezing them just for this recipe!
A Holiday Twist on Brussel Sprouts!
My Festive Cranberry Brussel Sprouts are a delicious side dish that my family loves. The earthy goodness of the sprouts pairs so nicely with the tartness of the cranberries.
Throw in a little bacon, as we Southerners love to do, and you have the perfect new side to adorn your holiday table!
Along with great recipes, I am always on the search for quality cookware and kitchen tools to help me have the best experience in my kitchen.
That means I have tried a ton of different frying pans in my twenty-plus years of cooking and I can honestly say that I have not found a stainless steel pan that I enjoyed cooking with as much as this Demeyere 5-Plus Stainless Steel 12.5-inch Fry Pan.
Let’s forget about the fact that I just dated myself with that “20 years plus” statement while we focus on this beautiful frying pan, okay?
There are so many things that I adore about this pan, like the long “Helper’s Handle” for starters. The ergonomic handle stays cool on the stove which allows you to hold the pan safely without getting burned.
How awesome is that? I cannot tell you how many times I have reached in for a hot handle. Not fun my friends, not fun. Thankfully I no longer have to worry about that with this pan!
The cool handle is awesome, but if I had to pick my favorite thing about this stainless steel pan it would be, hands down, that it is so easy to clean after using it.
I will admit that I worried it would be a tough job, but thanks to Demeyere’s patented Silvinox treatment, the stainless steel pan maintains a silvery finish, resists fingerprints, and stay easy to clean.
I have used my skillet now for a while and I have really put this to the test. From frying eggs, and simmering my family’s favorite gravy, to the greatest test of candying some walnuts.
So when I saw how easy it was to clean even sticky sweetener off this pan I knew I had finally found something I could use often!

These amazing Festive Cranberry Brussel Sprouts are so easy and with less than 10 ingredients you can cook up a beautiful side in about 25 minutes. I always find prepping my ingredients ahead makes things so much easier when I am preparing our holiday meals.
So I highly suggest chopping the Brussel Sprouts and cranberries prior to the time you will need to cook them. I always have crispy cooked bacon ready to eat in my refrigerator for quick snacks or recipes, but if you don’t you can bake your bacon in the oven while you are pan-frying your Brussel Sprouts.
It is a huge time saver when you are trying to get everything on the table.
Not only is this recipe so tasty I think the dish is beautiful and they add a great pop of color to the table, don’t you? If you have any recipes like these easy Festive Cranberry Brussel Sprouts then I would love to hear about them and so would Southern Kitchen.

I don’t often serve my recipes in the original pan that I cook them in but this skillet is super large and handy to serve in. I don’t mind going straight from the stove to the table for a family-style dish since it is a beautiful pan.
