Asian Sesame Green Bean: Buffett Style
I am a huge fan of Asian cuisine and if you have been around my blog long enough you know that I love being able to recreate my favorite dishes at home. The Asian Sesame Green Beans are my take on those tasty beans that are found on most Asian buffets.
I love those beans, when I say I love them, I mean I could eat a big plate full and be a perfectly happy girl. They are so full of flavor and there is just something about the crunch of the well seasoned green beans that speaks to my taste buds! Which brings me to the question “Why have I waited so long to make these at home?”
A few weeks back, not long after I had asked myself that very question, I ran across 3 lbs of fresh green beans for under $2. Yes, a true bargain in my grocery store’s clearance section that I couldn’t pass up. So with that great a deal, I knew I had to snatch them up and come home and finally give my Asian Sesame Green Beans a try, and boy am I glad I did!
A Simple and Fast Side Dish
These green beans are low carb and gluten-free when you use Bragg’s Liquid Aminos or a gluten-free version of soy sauce that can be found in many markets today. I love using Bragg’s Aminos as an alternative to the soy and I am able to buy mine at our local Kroger in their natural section. If you can’t find Bragg’s in your area I have provided my Amazon Affiliate Link below so you can check that out if you’re interested.
